Today I'm keeping it light. Last week I posted the 12 Storefronts of King Street. That post featured Lower King , which is the area South of Calhoun Street . Once upon a time this would have been the only part of King Street worth visiting.
As Bob Dylan sang: The times, they are a changing.
Upper King is now the jam.
Today's blog features some of my favorite storefronts and hippest spots on Upper King. And a few questions:
Any biscuit fans out there?
Want to drop some coin on a fine steak?
Can't get into Halls?
Want to work at a company with a rooftop bar featuring 3 kegs on tap?
How about a meal below $10 and a Moscow Mule in a frosty copper mug?
Want a 5 piece suit?
How about some sushi and a little late night dance party?
Any Fish fans? Oh..and they also have some late night dance party action.
How about some Italian?
What would you say if I told you that you could go to a place where you can get a great burger and top it off with a game of ping pong?
How about a specialty cocktail in a speak-easy-esque atmosphere?
Aw shucks...for you guys...how about a baker's dozen!
When was the last time you bought furniture from a store in the middle of a city?
So maybe today's blog was light on design, and heavy on food and drink.
